Grover's many innovations have provided a highly efficient and cost-effective method for leveling concrete slabs and solving most structural problems. A-1 is honored to carry on the legacy of Grover Miller.
John F. Rasnick, Founder
John was instrumental in taking Grover Miller's vision and helping turn it into America's Largest Concrete Leveler. For nearly thirty years, until his death in 2021, he worked alongside Jim Creed innovating and leading the company as its CFO. His ability to look at every problem from multiple perspectives allowed A-1 to thrive and keep abreast of technology, and his heart for people helped unite a team of franchises across the country into the A-1 family.
SE MICHIGAN / TOLEDO
FEATURED TEAM MEMBER
Boyd is our longest-running franchise owner. He's been the owner of A-1 Southeast Michigan and Toldeo since 1994 and during that time it has grown to be one of our largest locations. This means he has the experience, and people in place, to make sure your job is done right the first time, every time.
I had a large issue in the driveway of my home. Multiple cracks. It sounded hollowed as you stomp on it in multiple areas. WHAT THEY DID: They filled up the gaps inside. They repaired superficial cracks very well. They brought up the issue of how rain water could be coming under my driveway and causing more cracks in the future, unless prevented with some dirt leveling along the end of the driveway. I so appreciate the advise to minimize problems in the future! HOW THEY DID IT: On budget (Assessment + pricing much better than their direct foam competitor!!!). Professionally (they were cordial; answered all questions before, during and after the service; they were on time and handled the repaired just as they said they would). Awesome experience! Will definitively use them in the future again if needed. I highly recommend them! My job was done months ago. Everything looking great so far!
