Who We Are & What the Job Is

A-1 Concrete Leveling has been repairing concrete in local communities nationwide since 1993 thanks to our family-owned and operated locations. To truly support each franchise location, A-1's Corporate Marketing team has spent the last several years turning an industry nobody makes content about into content people actually watch.

While this role is based in and around the Louisville metro area, it sits on our Corporate Marketing team – creating content that supports the entire A-1 network.

Our commitment to educating buyers with unbiased, helpful content is constantly challenged by the ever-evolving marketing landscape – and we want to invest in the people who see those challenges and want to take it further.

This position is for someone who wants to build and improve upon what already exists. Our YouTube channel and learning center of 250+ articles aren't the ceiling – they're your starting point. Topics that perform well on video often become the foundation for written content too, and vice versa.

Key Responsibilities

Simply put, your primary responsibility is to consistently plan, shoot, edit, and publish long- and short-form video content through collaborative direction, logistics, and strategy from the rest of the Marketing team.

  • Plan, shoot, edit, and publish long- and short-form video content across YouTube and other social platforms
  • Post and schedule content independently
  • Appear on camera as a recurring, recognizable brand presence
  • Design supporting graphics, thumbnails, and templates in Adobe Creative Cloud

Bonus points if you:

  • Can repurpose one concept in a variety of formats/mediums – like writing blog posts and social media graphics.
  • Have experience with Sony cameras (e.g., Sony FX3)
  • Constantly seek learning opportunities, both personally and professionally.
  • Are familiar with various social channels – and know what works where

What We’re Looking For

  • Two or more years of video production experience
  • A portfolio that proves you can plan, shoot, edit, and tell a story across formats and mediums
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro – Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator are a meaningful plus
  • Organizational instincts to manage your own production pipeline
  • Genuine curiosity about why content works, not just how to produce it

Who We're Looking For

  • Someone who cares about the craft and the story being told
  • Someone who is comfortable in front of and behind the camera
  • Someone who is genuinely interested in the subject matter, even when the subject is concrete (literally)
  • Someone who takes direction well and still brings something to it

This role is designed to allow you to do exactly what it seems: create content.

You'll be on job sites, on camera, and at the center of shaping what A-1 looks and sounds like to the homeowners, property managers, and prospective franchise owners for many years to come.

If that's the kind of work you want to be doing – we want to hear from you.

Join the A-1 Team

How to Apply

Our process follows these steps:

  1. Submit your application, resume, video portfolio, and intro video (optional)

  2. Initial virtual interview with our leadership team

  3. A brief situational assignment for review

  4. The final interview is conducted and an offer is made

If you're serious about this role, record a short video introducing yourself and include it with your application. It doesn't need to be produced or polished – we're not evaluating your editing skills. We just want to know who you are and why this caught your attention.

If you have any questions, concerns or difficulty with the submission process, email marketing@a1concrete.com with your first and last name and a brief description of your issue.
